What to Expect on Your Tour
On the Globe Theatre Guided Tour, you will be taken inside the magnificent "wooden O" itself. Your guide, an expert storyteller, will bring the space to life, describing the atmosphere of a 16th-century performance and explaining the architecture and craft that went into the reconstruction.
You'll hear tales of the original theatre, the great fire of 1613, and the vision of Sam Wanamaker who campaigned to rebuild it. As the Globe is a working theatre, you may even get to see actors rehearsing on stage. Tours are conducted in English, with complimentary info sheets available in several languages.
