Shakespeare's Globe is committed to making theatre accessible to everyone. While there are no general free entry days, there are several ways to visit at a reduced price, most notably through the standing "groundling" tickets. For information on accessibility, visit our accessibility page.

Eligibility for Reduced Prices

£5 Groundling Tickets

For every performance, 700 standing tickets are available from just £5. This is the most authentic and affordable way to see a show at the Globe. Be prepared to stand for up to three hours, exposed to the elements.

£5 Rush

Every Friday at 11:00 AM, a limited number of £5 standing tickets are released online for the following week's performances, even for sold-out shows. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Under 16s

Reduced price tickets are available for children under 16 for guided tours.

Access Scheme

Patrons with disabilities who join the theatre's Access Scheme are eligible for discounted tickets for themselves and a companion. Contact the Globe's Access Information Line for details.

Groups

Discounted rates are available for groups of 15 or more for guided tours.
